    ​​In accordance with section 26 to 37 of the Localism Act 2011 on 1st July 2014 Stowupland Parish council resolved to adopt the Suffolk Local Code of Conduct for the purposes of discharging  its duty to promote and maintain high standards of conduct within its area.

    The policy ensures all Stowupland Parish council employees are treated with dignity and respect, free from harassment or other forms of bullying at work. It sets out examples of the type of conduct that may constitute harassment or bullying and the council's commitment to the elimination of such conduct in the workplace.

    The policy ensures equal opportunities for all Stowupland Parish council employees, irrespective of their characteristics as defined in the Equality act 2010.
